This weekend Joe and Katie planned and organized the 1st Annual White Trash College Bash, as a means of sending the soon-to-leave Australian neighbors off in style.

It went off without a hitch. Nearly everyone from our residence came, and also many friends from all around town. Guest appearances included 'Mitsubishi Mike', our Japanese buddies who did not realize there was alcohol in the jello being served, and America's next addition MAYA. (Shes our friend, moving to Cave Creek AZ in a few weeks for a nanny job.
Over the weekend we enjoyed a wonderful Japanese style bbq in the mountains, about one hour north west of Himeji. True to Japanese style, our friends Eiko, Toshi, Naiomi, and Mayumi cooked fantastic food until we couldn't eat another bite. When the meal was finished, we were all wondering how the Japanese people eat the way they do and stay so thin! Then, we taught our friends how to play, "Big Bootie" and to throw a frisbee. It was a perfect autmun day away from the city!
